We’re building this from the ground up.

  1. Raise the worms — African nightcrawlers, raised from bedding to breeder in our bins.
  2. Feed the worms — Fruit and veggie scraps, coffee grounds, and carbon-rich bedding. No meat, no dairy, no drama.
  3. Maintain the bins — Moisture, airflow, and temperature, checked and tuned. Happy worms are productive worms.
  4. Harvest the castings — When the bedding is fully worked through, we separate the worms from the finished castings.
  5. Screen the castings — Screened for a uniform, fluffy, ready-to-use texture.
  6. Test & document the batch — Every batch gets a lot number and a documented story: when it was harvested and how it was made. Look yours up under Know Your Castings.
  7. Pack & ship — Sealed fresh, labeled with its lot number, and sent to your garden.

We’re currently operating at small scale while we refine every part of the process.

The fine print (all true, mostly)

  • “Small scale” means every bag you buy directly funds the next bin. You’re not a customer, you’re a co-conspirator.
  • Our quality control team is 10,000 worms who work for table scraps and cannot be bribed. We’ve tried. They just ate the bribe.
  • Yes, we talk to the worms. No, they don’t talk back. That’s how we know the operation is running smoothly — the day they unionize, you’ll read about it here first.
  • If your castings arrive and your plants start showing off, that’s not our fault. Okay, it’s a little our fault.
